We welcome you to the PropertyTalk.com PT Wiki.

Our wiki is about New Zealand property investment and the focus is on presenting the good, the bad and the ugly of property investing. As well as the obvious, the intangible and hidden aspects of property investing. We want this wiki to empower people to make knowledgeable and informed property investment decisions and to prosper, as a consequence.

This wiki is a product of home-grown wisdom from New Zealand property investors. Some contributors have a few propety rentals, other contributors with many properties and a few contributors with lots of property. Some contributors are property investors who buy and sell (trade) properties.

For ease of comprehension, one part deals with residential dwellings: flats, houses, apartments. The other part deals with commercial buildings: shops, sheds, warehouses, etc.

Like Wikis generally, almost anyone can contribute, but there are some conditions. While anyone can read the PT Wiki and learn from the information it contains, only registered users can add to, or edit pages.

Registration requires the use of real names. I.e. no anonymous usernames are permitted. The owners of this Wiki reserve the right to decline any registration applications, or de-register anyone for inappropriate PT Wiki activities.

Further, this Wiki is also subject to 'editorial oversight' by a group of seasoned investors. This is to ensure that inappropriate commercial assertions, or radical and wild claims are moderated, or maybe even removed.
