This is a novel strategy which involves converting a residential property into a partially commercial property for cashflow reasons. The essence of this strategy is to allow others to erect advertisements on the property in return for payment. The most common form of this sort of strategy is probably getting a discount from a tradesperson in exchange for them advertising that their company has done the work on this property.

It should be noted that local by-laws and regulations may apply and that the local Council should be consulted about these activities, before signs are erected.
