As with all businesses, property investment has its own jargon and abbreviations. Here are some:

B&H = Buy and Hold
BBO = Buyer Budget Over
BEO = Buyer Enquiry Over
BRM = Bedroom / Bedrooms

CV = Capital Value (land value plus value of buildings and improvements)
CF+ = Cash flow positive (earns more than it costs)
CF- = Cash flow negative (costs more than it earns)
CGT = Cash capital gains tax
CoT = Certificate of Title

DIY = Do It Yourself (sometimes D-I-Y)

LL = Landlord or Landlady
LMI = Loan Mortgage Insurance
LO = Lease Option
LV = Land Value
LVR = Loan to Value Ratio

PLA = Property Law Act
PPOR = Principle Place of Residence (The property you currently reside in)
PM = Property Manager

SHS = Summerhill Stone (A brick cladding commonly used in the 1960's and early 1970's. It is a generally well regarded permanent material, whether it has been left in its original condition or later painted to give a more modern look.)
SLO = Sandwich Lease Option
